The state-of-the-art ER will be staffed by board-certified or eligible emergency room physicians and nurses, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, just like an emergency room that is housed within the walls of a hospital. LewisGale Hospital Montgomery’s new nearly 10,000 square-foot Christiansburg ER will be located as you enter Christiansburg from the south at 1205 West Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073.

Designed to meet the community’s growing needs, the new ER will provide the following services and features:

• Full-service emergency care – the same services offered at hospital-based ERs
• Walk-in entrance and covered ambulance entrance for patient drop-off and pick-up with EMS lounge
• 11 ER Rooms, including a fully equipped trauma bay
• Staffed by emergency medicine physicians, specially trained emergency nurses and support teams
• Advanced imaging for diagnostics and testing, including CT scan, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging
• Onsite laboratory testing
• Fully integrated department of LewisGale Hospital Montgomery
