The five-year anniversary of HCA Capital Division President Tim McManus' stroke fell on the 2021 observance of National Stroke Awareness Day, October 29. He reflects on being a patient in one of his own hospitals, becoming one of the growing number of young people having strokes, and how he has taken the perspectives he learned as a patient and applied them to his daily work leading the HCA Healthcare Capital Division.
