Barton Smith, MD

Barton Smith, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with TriCities Surgical Associates in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Virginia for both his undergraduate and medical degrees in 1978 and 1982, respectively. He completed his internship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, in 1983, and his residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., in 1988, upon which time he returned to Central Virginia.
