Naren Gupta, MD,PhD

Dr. Naren Gupta completed his surgical internship and earned a PhD (with Distinction) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Virginia, and went on to advanced training in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Emory University. His research in antibiotics usage to prevent infections after surgery, the role of nutrition in disease, and stroke prevention by carotid surgery and stenting won natio
