Minimally invasive and robotic surgery
For many conditions, including orthopedic and oncological complications, we employ the use of minimally invasive or robotic surgery whenever possible. These leading- edge techniques allow our surgeons greater visibility for hard-to-reach areas. They also bring about greater precision, with robotic arms able to achieve results not possible with the human hand.
Minimally invasive surgery uses a series of small incisions, rather than one large incision. This type of surgery is effectively used for breast, colorectal, gynecological, kidney, skin and thyroid cancer procedures. Benefits of minimally invasive surgery include less pain, less blood loss, shorter recovery time and shorter hospital stays.
