Walker is the current vice president of operations for Parham Doctors' Hospital.
Richmond, Va. — HCA Virginia has named Drew Walker the new chief operating officer at Chippenham Hospital, effective Oct. 24, 2022.
Walker is the current vice president of operations for Parham Doctors’ Hospital where he has overseen multiple capital projects. In addition to strategic growth initiatives around orthopedics, spine, and bariatric surgery, Drew launched two robotic platforms and assisted in the launch of a colorectal service line.
“We look forward to welcoming Drew to Chippenham and know his leadership will bolster the work of our medical staff and colleagues, which already has a strong foundation,” said Dr. William Lunn, the chief executive officer of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals. “His leadership experience makes him the right choice to lead our operations.”
He began his healthcare career in 2013 as an administrative resident for Bon Secours’ St. Francis Medical Center before becoming the regional director of operations for OrthoVirginia. Immediately prior to joining Parham Doctors’ Hospital in 2019, Drew served as the market administrative director for Bon Secours’ orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, and sports medicine service lines.
A Richmond native, Walker received his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College and his master’s degree in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
