Gastrointestinal surgery

Our gastrointestinal (GI) and colorectal surgeons perform surgery when other treatment options have not proven to be effective. We can use advanced surgical techniques to treat a wide range of GI conditions, from gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD) to colon cancer.

Gynecological and urogynecologic surgeries

Our experienced surgeons can also perform surgery to treat diseases and conditions of the female reproductive organs and urinary tract. We know how these areas of the body are linked in complex ways that impact one another. For example, pelvic floor prolapse can affect both your sexual health and urinary incontinence. Additionally, to help you heal faster and more quickly improve your quality of life, many of the procedures we offer are minimally invasive.

Minimally invasive surgery

Surgeons at our hospital use minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic and laparoscopic surgery, whenever possible. Minimally invasive surgery requires only a few small incisions, which means less trauma to the body, less blood loss and decreased risk of infection. Typically, patients who receive minimally invasive care experience less postoperative pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recoveries.

Our surgeons offer a variety of procedures at our hospital, such as:

  • Bariatric surgery
  • Colorectal surgery
  • Gastrointestinal surgery
  • Gynecological surgery
  • Knee replacement surgery
  • Spinal surgery
  • Thoracic surgery
  • Urological surgery
  • Urogynecological surgery

Robotic surgery

Robotic surgery is an advanced type of minimally invasive surgery. It involves using miniature surgical instruments to visualize the surgical site with a high-definition 3D camera.

Your surgeon can see the magnified, high-resolution view of the surgical site while controlling robotic equipment and surgical instruments. The robotic system translates your surgeon’s hand movements into smaller, more precise movements than the human hand could do alone.

We can often use robotic surgery for procedures in these specialties:

  • Gastrointestinal surgery
  • General surgery
  • Gynecological and urogynecological surgeries
  • Knee replacement
  • Urologic surgery

Robotic knee replacement

We offer an advanced surgical system for performing partial and total knee replacement. This robotic technology creates a 3D digital model of your knee during surgery, eliminating the need to get a computerized tomography (CT) scan before surgery and reducing your radiation exposure. The model allows the surgeon to study your knee, which helps them perform a more accurate placement of the artificial knee based on your unique anatomy. It also helps your surgeon optimize the knee’s range of motion, soft tissue balance, and function for a more natural fit and a quicker, smoother recovery.

Orthopedic and spine surgery

We provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical services, including joint replacement and spine surgery. Our orthopedic surgeons can stabilize joints, fuse vertebrae and address other orthopedic and spine conditions with minimally invasive procedures.

Preparing for your surgical procedure

Whether this is your first surgery or you've come to us before, we want to make each procedure easy and comfortable.

Before surgery

Once your surgery date is set, you will be contacted to set up a preoperative interview, which can be conducted either in person or over the phone. This is when we gather your information as we prepare for your upcoming procedure.

You may preregister for your surgery online. We ask that online preregistration is completed at least 72 hours before your procedure. If a question does not apply to you or your surgery, please answer with “NO” or an “X.”

On the day of your procedure, please enter through the main lobby and check in at the registration desk.
