Physical therapy and rehabilitation

Rehabilitation refers to the process of helping a patient recover from a serious injury or illness. Patients often have to regain strength and learn new ways of completing normal, daily activities. Physical therapy, a branch of rehabilitation, focuses on building strength and mobility after disease, injury or surgery.

When multiple medical conditions and symptoms happen at once, it's overwhelming and requires a rehabilitative type of care known as complex care to treat.

Our complex care team is dedicated to working together to monitor overlapping symptoms and provide treatment based on your whole health. You may receive treatments that include hyperbaric oxygen or intravenous (IV) nutrition.

As part of your complex care treatment, we also provide coordinated inpatient medical and rehab services to help you heal and prepare for a successful transition home or to the next level of care.

Lymphedema therapy clinic

Lymphedema is a condition caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system, resulting in swelling in one or more extremities. For patients with this condition, our lymphedema clinic provides compression garments, treatments, education and exercise techniques.

Our trained staff manages wounds caused by lymphedema, improving skin integrity and promoting healing. Our therapists are also certified by the Lymphology Association of North America and continue their education with yearly training.

Our lymphedema clinic is open Monday through Friday. For hours and more information, please email us.

Pediatric physical therapy and rehab

In our pediatric rehab clinic, our goal is to help children do the things they do best: living, learning and playing. Our rehab services combine traditional physical and occupational therapies with sensory integration, which uses methods that engage all of the senses. Our pediatric therapy specialists work with children of all ages, from infancy to adolescence, and treat all diagnoses where therapy is effective.
